As a highly methodical designer I like for things to be done a certain way. I believe that my work will be the most successful when I follow my process and follow it the way that I am used to.
But sometimes it’s okay to bend
your own rules a bit.
I am in the middle of a huge RFP (Request For Proposal) this week and being an incredibly rushed proposal I have had to forgo some of the more intricate parts of the steps in my process. And I’ve had to decide that I’m okay with it and not stress. It allows me to stretch myself and work differently now and then, and different is always good.
